Civil Aircraft: Demonstrators & Deliveries
Like military aviation, the civil scene has also seen aircraft, whether brand new or not, staging through Malta on their way to their new owners.
Not as exciting as their military counterparts, and not as obvious to the casual observer (who may mistake it for a regular flight), they nevertheless have added colour and the chance to see civil registrations unlikely to be seen in this part of the world.
Also included in this section are company-owned aircraft, which were/are used as demonstrators, some merely stopping at Luqa for re-fuelling and a crew rest, before continuing with their journey. A few were brought to Malta specifically for possible use by a Maltese company.
The entries have been listed in alphabetical order according to aircraft type. If the original company merged with another, the original name of the aircraft is used.
